We offer a center where teachers and professionals can bring their
children to be evaluated and to receive direct services.
At the center, we are able to conduct the most current
evidence-based assessment of children, to measure skills for reading,
writing, listening, and speaking. Our assessment procedure is modeled
after the Cattell-Horn-Carroll theory of cognitive development, widely
recognized as the most empirically validated theoretical structural
model of human cognitive abilities.
The center also provides direct services for children needing
assistance in learning and communication. Our core approach, which we
call Extraordinary Individualized Learning, is very helpful to a wide
range of children.
We also will conduct ongoing research at the center, including
investigations into child learning. The research will be both
experimental and qualitative, including cross-sectional group data and
longitudinal individual child data, using the latest research tools.
Part of the research will be devoted to assisting local school
districts in developing evidence-based assessment protocols.
