We offer seminars on:
- Assessment and Intervention - for teachers and clinical professionals. (details)
- Reading with your Child - for families and anyone with a special-needs child in his or her life. (details)
- Demonstrating and learning the neural networks within a child
In this seminar, we cover the vocal/linguistic network, the visual network, and the experiential network; how these networks enhance learning; and how teachers, parents, and practicing professionals can use these concepts when working with an individual child.
- Technique Matching
Teachers, parents, and professionals learn to match teaching and intervention techniques to a child's learning style.
- Literacy Discussion
We discuss the National Reading Panel's evidence-based assessment and intervention recommendations for reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Child-based Scientific Research
We discuss measurements, interventions, and practical applications of research. The seminar includes demonstrations.
- Better Curriculum-based Measurements
In this seminar, we show how to demonstrate immediate results (gains or losses) using an ecologically valid approach. These types of assessments are frequently more relevant than standard end-of-semester or end-of-grade assessments.
- Federal Laws
We discuss current and future directions of services for children with special needs, including the problem-solving four level model.

What do attendees think of our seminars?
"Once again, I so enjoyed the workshop. Most I go to are 'ho hum' at
best, but this one was extremely practical. Thank-you for being
realistic to public school speech language pathologists."
"I thought the conference
was very good. At first the information on the brain seemed tedious,
but then I realized that it helped me to understand the complexity of
literacy/reading that we are asking our children to do.
You are very generous in your time and information. I am grateful to
have learned from you. THANKS!!!!"
